Meth can cause many serious injuries including death. It causes inflammation to the heart lining, strokes, and increased heart pressure. Meth increased suicidal thoughts and problems with behavior and interactions with others.

In Indiana, teens vape more than adults. 1 out of 10 teens are reported to vape. The dangers of it include many things including asthma, lung scarring, and cancer.

Opioid Effects
In indiana, there were 2,206 deaths due to opioids in 2021. This was 78% of the portion of drug overdoses in the state. Opioids at low doses cause a sleepy feeling, but if you take too many it leads to death because your heart and breathing rate are slowed so much.
